New-Student Information

We've been where you are. You're probably excited (and maybe a little nervous) about coming to college. There are so many new things to see, do, and learn on campus. But you probably have a ton of questions, which is why we're here.

The Office of New Student Programs will primarily be available via email while we work remotely. If your question is best addressed over the phone, please email us to request a phone call. We will continue to work with our new and incoming students to help through this transition, and are available to answer any question or concern.

On this website, we've gathered a collection of links to help make the transition a bit easier. From ways to connect with other new students on Facebook, to what book everyone is reading, you'll find all the information you need for your move to campus:

  • Checklist. The New Student Portal is your checklist for all things Goucher. Please make sure you complete the items before you arrive.

  • Social media. Connect with others on the Goucher Class of 2024 Facebook Page and keep up with campus news.

  • What to bring. Move-in day and orientation begin Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Here are some tips on what to bring and what to leave behind.

  • Upcoming events. Come hear world-class speakers, or go see your friends' performance. There's always something to do here, so keep checking back.

  • Virtual tour. Start exploring campus, things to do around Baltimore and DC, and even where you might study abroad.

  • Student life. Find out more about the many ways to be active and engaged on campus and beyond.
