AP Summer Institute

Thank you to everyone who attended our virtual AP Summer Institute & AP Capstone courses in 2020! We had the privilege of working with a record number of educators (more than 750) from around the country—their work and passion inspire us in these challenging circumstances.

Registration for our 2021 APSI is now open! Click on the weeks listed below to access registration buttons. Registration links for our 2021 AP Capstone Summer Institute will be emailed from the College Board directly to all approved schools at the end of January 2021.

2021 AP Summer Institute

With over 20 years of experience providing AP® educators with high-quality courses and valuable networking opportunities, Goucher College is delighted to invite you to register for our 2021 Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI).

During Weeks 1 and 2, our APSI sessions each take place over only four days in June—from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. EDT Monday through Thursday. Both in-person and online courses will be offered.

In July, our APSI takes place over 4.5 days during Week 3—running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT, Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT on Friday. Only online courses will be offered.

And during Week 4, AP Capstone courses will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT, Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EDT on Friday. In-person and virtual courses will be offered.

For those taking online APSI courses, all College Board materials (included in your tuition) will be mailed directly to you. In-person APSI and AP Capstone participants will receive all College Board materials, lunch, and free parking while on campus. You'll get the preparation you need and enough time to take it all in without cramming.

All levels of experience welcome

Whether you are a new, recent (less than three years), or experienced (three or more years) AP teacher, we'll be able to help. You self-select into which group you fit best - and get the most out of courses tailored to your level and needs.
