AP Summer Institute

Join your colleagues for Goucher's 2023 AP Summer Institute where you can earn graduate credit, or complete courses for non-credit, while gaining College Board-certified preparation in most subject areas offered in secondary AP programs.

With over 20 years of experience providing AP® educators with high-quality courses and valuable networking opportunities, Goucher College is delighted to invite you to register for our 2023 Advanced Placement Summer Institute (APSI).

2023 APSI Schedule

Week 1 dates are June 20-23, 2023 (4 days)—from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. We are starting on Tuesday this week as Monday, June 19, 2023, is the Juneteenth federal holiday. Week 1 courses will be online only.

During Week 2, our APSI sessions take place June 26-29, 2023 (4 days)—from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Both in-person and online courses will be offered during Week 2.

Note: At this time on our campus, vaccinations are required for all students, faculty, and staff. Goucher will continue to be minimally in compliance with CDC guidance but may have regulations for the safety of our community that exceed that guidance such as masking, physical distancing, etc. Specific updates will be shared with all Week 2 in-person faculty and participants as our June 26, 2023, start date approaches.

Week 3 of our APSI takes place July 10-14, 2023 (4.5 day)—running from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
Only online courses will be offered during Week 3.

For those taking online APSI courses, all College Board materials (included in your tuition) will be available to download from your Canvas course site. You'll get the preparation you need and enough time to take it all in without cramming.

All levels of experience welcome

Whether you are a new, recent (less than three years), or experienced (three or more years) AP teacher, we'll be able to help. You self-select into which group you fit best - and get the most out of courses tailored to your level and needs.
