New Student Roadmap

The New Student Roadmap is your guide to the steps to complete prior to your arrival on campus. This process contains five steps, and prior to the start of each step, you will receive an email that provides you further information and links to the various steps to complete for each "stop" on your roadmap.

Please print a copy of the New Student Roadmap to keep track of your own progress by checking off the tasks as you complete them. Unfortunately, the checked items cannot be saved.

Step 1

Complete Registration Tasks

Each item on is accessed through the Admissions and Financial Aid Status Portal. Instructions on how to complete these items are emailed to the student, once the process begins.

Review advising information and complete the advising questionnaire. Sign your financial responsibility agreement. Complete the Data, Mathematical, & Computational (DMC) self-assessment questionnaire. Complete the French or Spanish placement test, if you intend to take one of those languages.

Step 2

COMPLETE Required Forms

Register for housing and select a meal plan.
Complete and submit the required health forms. Complete the Family Educational Rights and Privacy (FERPA) form.

Step 3

Student Financial Services

Financial Aid
Accept or decline any pending aid by logging in to NetPartner. Consult the Documents & Messages section in NetPartner to confirm you've submitted all documents required for the aid sources you've accepted.

E-Billing Statements
Grant statement access to parents or other parties on Goucher’s E-Billing page.

Refund Preference
Set up your refund preference at BankMobile to ensure any due refunds are processed immediately.

Outside Scholarships Form
Report all outside scholarships to Student Financial Services using the Outside Scholarships form.

Tuition Refund Insurance
Students have the option to enroll in this coverage which will reimburse tuition costs if a student withdraws at any time for a covered reason

Health Insurance
Students are required to have health insurance and will be automatically enrolled in Goucher’s coverage unless waived. Students will receive notification once the health insurance website is available so they can make their desired election.

Step 4

Complete & Submit additional Information

Complete the Emergency Contact Information Form. Complete the Cell Phone Form.
Complete the required online educational training. Submit a selfie for your OneCard Student ID to selfie@goucher.edu. Register your vehicle (if applicable).
