Bon Appétit Management Company, the food service provider on Goucher’s campus, provides a variety of dining options for students with specific dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, and kosher food. The use of multiple stations and exhibition areas encourages a “have it your way” system, allowing students to follow any personal diet that they desire. Bon Appétit will also work individually with students on specific dietary needs, including needs related to allergies. The on-site chef or manager will meet with you to develop a plan that may include special menu items, ingredient identification, special preparation, and communication to necessary staff, to ensure that you can eat safely. You may also use Bon Appétit’s corporate-registered dietitian as a resource for food allergies, or for issues related to lactose intolerance, celiac disease, diabetes, etc.
