Special Collections offers an innovative, hands-on education program utilizing original materials that supports curricula with broad and in-depth high-impact learning experiences based in primary source literacy and archival methods research. Classes are tailored to the faculty’s needs and can range from an introduction to Special Collections to more intense research methodologies. Learning

Special Collections and Archives provides unique learning experiences for students through internships, research fellowships, and work opportunities. In 2008, Special Collections and Archives established the Peirce Center, a program that supports undergraduate fellowships for research and experiential learning opportunities. Special Collections is always looking for ways to partner and/or collaborate with other college departments on projects that support the college’s academic strategic plan.
