Special Collections & Archives

The Special Collections & Archives Department collects, houses, and preserves rare books, personal and institutional papers, photographs, the college archives, and other unique research materials. The collections support primary research in many disciplines including art and art history, dance, English, British and U.S. history, women's studies, peace studies, and other areas of study.  Students, faculty, and outside researchers are encouraged to explore our unique collections.

Special Collections and Archives is currently closed for walk-in research but we are open for faculty and staff appointments.  We offer remote research and instructional support.  For more information you can contact us at archives@goucher.edu.
