Housing Dates

  • Only students who are currently living on campus for the spring semester can begin their summer housing on Monday, May 28th, 2018. Approved students will remain in their spring assignment until the summer residence hall is ready. Once the summer residence hall is ready, students will be expected to move very quickly from their spring assignments to the summer residence hall. The expected date for this move is Wednesday, May 30th/Thursday May 31st.
  • The earliest students who are not currently assigned to a spring room may return to campus is Friday, June 1st, 2018.
  • Only students who have a fall room assignment will be allowed to stay in summer housing past Friday, August 3rd, 2018. Students who are studying abroad or do not plan to live on campus for the fall semester, cannot stay in summer housing past this date.
  • Students who wish to remain on campus after Friday, August 3rd, 2018 must be here for the summer term. Students cannot apply for dates only in August.
  • To ensure that transitions happen smoothly, students who remain on campus during the summer term are expected to work with the Office of Residential Life and FMS throughout the term and may need to shift rooms with little notice to ensure that all student rooms are ready for the summer and fall semester.
