Evelyn Dyke Schroedl '62
Schroedl has been an active member of the Goucher community for seven decades, including working in the Registrar's Office for more than 30 years and attending Goucher as an adult student. At 100 years of age, Schroedl still plays tennis every week and has decided to share her love of the game with future generations of Gophers. Her philanthropic gift will underwrite Goucher’s Evelyn Dyke Schroedl ’62 Tennis Center.

The Honorable Paula Stern Ph.D., '67
Stern is president of the Stern Group, which advises on global business, political, and tech policy issues. At the time of her service as commissioner and as chairwoman of the U.S. International Trade Commission, she was the second highest-ranking woman in the executive branch of the U.S. government. In addition to many other high-profile leadership positions throughout her career, Stern is also a celebrated sculptor.

Percy Moore ’95
Moore is a decorated Marine who has received numerous recognitions for his global leadership. He has served on the Goucher Board of Trustees since 2006. Moore is the only male soccer player from Goucher to earn first-team All-CAC (Capital Athletics Conference) honors in each of his four years of eligibility. He was inducted into the Goucher College Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015 and was also one of the inaugural recipients of the Marguerite Barland ’60 Merit Award.

Dr. Susan Epstein Leeman ’51
Considered one of the founders of neuroendocrinology, Leeman, a professor in the department of pharmacology at Boston University Medical School, was the first woman elected to the division of physiology and pharmacology in the National Academy of Sciences.

Sheila Kleinman Sachs ’61, Esq.
A senior member of Gordon Feinblatt law firm in its Litigation Practice Group and the first woman to serve as president of the Bar Association of Baltimore City, Sachs has been a leading Maryland family law practitioner for more than three decades.

Dr. La Jerne Terry Cornish '83, M.Ed. ’94, P ’18
Cornish is the associate provost for undergraduate studies at Goucher College. A former assistant principal in the Baltimore City Public Schools, she piloted the Maryland’s Tomorrow Program, which offers at-risk 8th graders paid summer internships as a way of encouraging them to stay in school.

Steve Zimmer ’92
Zimmer serves as president of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Board of Education, which represents the second largest district in the country and serves more than 640,000 kindergarten through 12th-grade students.

Arienna Grody ’10, Esq
A graduate of the UCLA School of Law, Grody is a public defender in Birmingham, Ala., and in 2014 was the recipient of the first UCLA Gideon’s Promise Fellowship. Launched last November, the fellowship places a student from UCLA in a public defender’s office in a high-need community in the South.
