A Living History: Goucher Voices from the Past
November 13, 1999

In celebration of the Friends of the Goucher College Library’s 50th Anniversary, the Department of Theatre presents "A Living History: Goucher Voices from the Past," original theatre sketches written and performed by Goucher students under the direction of Associate Professor of Theatre Michael Curry, on Saturday, November 13, at 2:00 p.m. in Mildred Dunnock Theatre on campus. Tickets are $15, which includes the performance cost and a festive reception that follows.

Sally Sherwood's one-woman show traces in song and story the American musical theater from vaudeville to the present.

The speaker is Carla Hayden, Director of the Enoch Pratt Free Library and member of the Goucher Board of Trustees. Her topic: "The Future of Libraries in the Next Century."
