Preparing to Go on a Study Abroad Experience

Before you study abroad, there are a number of important things to consider.  You and your family may have concerns about diversity or health and safety. (Although studies show studying abroad statistically may be more safe than staying on campus.)

We believe the best way you can prepare for your study abroad experience is to spend some time researching your host country and gathering important information for yourself and your family while you are abroad.

These pages contain useful information to help you research your study abroad experience.  As always, if you have questions or concerns, please contact the Office of Global Education.
