Office of Global Education
While this global pandemic has effectively halted international travel for now, the Office of Global Education will continue to support students who had to abruptly return from abroad, give up plans for summer intensive courses abroad, or adjust plans for the fall semester abroad, as well as international students who either remained in the U.S. or returned to their home countries. We will work with students on issues of logistics, finances, processing the study abroad experience this spring, and immigration advising for F-1 students, among other topics. We will do our best to answer questions and assist students in planning for the future in this continually evolving crisis. We will be providing advising through appointments (telephone, Zoom, Skype, or WhatsApp) and will respond to emails.
We are offering appointments specifically for students to process the sudden change in their study abroad plans. There is an appointment for this purpose, Discussion of Study Abroad Experience, under our Bookings link that will allow you to select one of the following people:
- Karen Sykes, Global Education
- Cynthia Terry, Religious and Spiritual Life
- Lindsay Johnson, Community-Based Learning
