In our ongoing effort to keep our campus and the community well informed, the Office
of Campus Operations will provide regular updates on this website about campus construction
projects including the Lewent Science Center. If you would like to receive notifications

- November 17, 2025
The construction of the Lewent Science Center continues to progress, and starting this week, construction crews will be onsite on the ground floor of Hoffberger to prepare the area of the existing building for connection to the new building. This work will involve increased noise levels in those areas through the first week of December.

As part of the current construction of the Lewent Science Center, we wanted to share an update on other construction activities that will be taking place around Stimson Hall over the coming weeks.

We are pleased to report that construction activity is progressing. As part of that progress, tomorrow, August 2, 2025, starting at 7:00 a.m. both the power and the water will be shut off to the Hoffberger Science Building only.
