So, What Now?: A deep dive exploration into effective social action

Tell Me How

In this one-credit course, students will explore various ways to use writing and academia for honed and effective social action. By studying multi-genre texts, engaging in rigorous discussion, and evolving their critical thinking, students will steep themselves in the humanities and the liberal arts in order to answer the question raised by the Goucher College summer reading book, Tell Me How it Ends: “What can I do now?”

In addition to traditional classroom activities, including creating a final representation of their learning, students will also interact with subject matter experts like authors, lawyers, and additional Goucher faculty who all are engaged in the real world of social justice.
