Welcome Class of 2018 & New AAGC Leadership
Dear Goucher alumnae and alumni,
As this year’s Commencement approaches, we’ll soon welcome the Class of 2018 into our Alumnae/i Association. For those of you in Baltimore and nearby, there will be many exciting events leading up to that day—I hope you can partake!
Service is at the heart of what makes Goucher special. Whatever your field of study, I know you were charged by your professors to use your liberal arts education to make the world a better place.
Service also sustains our alumnae/i community. Please take this opportunity to learn more about our new Board of Directors and Committee Members who will begin terms July 1. These alumnae/i were approved by a vote of the full community at April’s annual meeting during Alumnae/i Weekend.
I also want to express our gratitude to outgoing members of the Nominating Committee, Public Service Committee, and AAGC Board of Directors. These individuals have donated significant hours and expertise to sustain our community. Thank you!
If you’re interested in new ways of engaging with fellow alumnae/i, organizing an event in your home community, and helping champion Goucher's incredible students and future trajectory, please feel free to reach out to AAGC President Kara Byrne Bundy '02 or me at any time by emailing alumni@goucher.edu.
Warmly,
Jay Gilman ’09
AAGC Vice President & Nominating Committee Facilitator
