Public Health Major

The Public Health major consists of set of required Core Courses (24 credits) and courses students select from two categories: Electives: Mechanisms and Contexts of Health and Professional & Applied Skills (20 credits).

Core Courses introduce students to the interdisciplinary nature of the discipline, the distribution and determinants of health outcomes and diseases in specified populations, and the ability to work with large-scale databases to analyze health and disease patterns in local and/or global contexts.
