Join us for a daylong virtual conversation as the M.A. in Cultural Sustainability Program celebrates 10 years of being a pioneer in the field of cultural sustainability. In recognition of this milestone, Goucher College, in collaboration with the Smithsonian Institution Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage and the American Folklore Society, hosts an international gathering of scholars, artists, and activists to share their work, explore potential collaborations, and expand our understanding of cultural sustainability as an act of resilience.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Margaret Kovach

We are pleased to announce Dr. Margaret Kovach as our keynote speaker, who will present "Indigenous Methodologies and Cultural Sustainability in Research." Kovach is a member of the College of the Royal Society of Canada and is nationally and internationally recognized as a leading methodologist in the area of Indigenous methodologies.
