This past summer, two of Goucher’s Center for Psychology faculty conducted summer research with students: Dr. Grayman-Simpson and Dr. Gillian Starkey. Both of these projects were funded by the Goucher Summer Research Program.

Sarah Lummis, a 2017 Goucher graduate and psychology major, recently published an article in Psi Chi's Journal of Psychological Research.

On April 26, a number of psychology majors attended and presented at the annual Goucher Symposium. In the research presentations category, Sam Kane-Gerard ('18), Scotty Lind ('18), and Sarah Lummis ('17) spoke about their work on whether academic resource centers promote empirically-supported learning strategies to undergraduates.

The SAGE Encyclopedia of Abnormal and Clinical Psychology was released in April 2017. The encyclopedia was created in order to provide a new, updated resource that covers the full scope of the field of abnormal and clinical psychology, as geared toward undergraduates.
