Workers’ compensation is a no-fault insurance program that pays benefits to employees who sustain work-related injuries or illnesses. Generally, for an injury or illness to be covered by workers’ compensation, the condition must be caused, aggravated or accelerated by work activities or the work environment. The types of injuries covered through the program include those that are caused by accidents and exposure to hazardous materials.

If you, as an employee are injured at work, your cooperation is essential to helping the college manage your claim. Please review this document (PDF) and, if you are able, submit a Report of First Injury form (PDF) to Human Resources as soon as possible.
