Ruppersberger Secures Nearly $3 Million to Help Baltimore-Area Colleges Address Worker Shortages

Goucher College is proud to be included in the $242 billion Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies Appropriations bill for the fiscal year 2023. Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger proposed $1.256 million for Goucher to sustain lab equipment for students in the biology, biochemistry, chemistry, neuroscience, pre-nursing, and pre-med programs. As President Devereaux stated, “Goucher is immensely grateful…We are proud of our legacy of stellar instruction in the sciences, especially for women and historically underrepresented students.”
