Welcome to the first edition of the Goucher Society Newsletter, designed to give you meaningful updates, as well as student impact stories, so you can see how your leadership in giving to the college directly enhances the on-campus experience for today’s students.
Welcome, readers, to the first edition of the Goucher Society Newsletter. For those of you who haven’t met me—hopefully you received my letter over the summer
introducing myself—my name is Zach Heeter and I recently joined Goucher College as
the new Goucher Society Giving Officer.
In my first few months, I’ve had the opportunity to meet with more than 50 alumnae/i,
from class years of 1949 to 2019, to hear about your experiences at Goucher and update
you on our newest developments. As a result of those conversations, and hearing a
desire for more personal updates, we have revamped the Goucher Society (see below!)
and created this newsletter.
As a Goucher Society member, you will be receiving this newsletter each season, with
the purpose of giving you meaningful updates, as well as student impact stories, so
you can see how your leadership in giving to the college directly enhances the on-campus
experience for today’s students.
If there is anything you would like to see included in this newsletter, please feel
free to email me. This newsletter is meant to help bridge communication between Goucher
and you, the above–and–beyond supporter, so I’d love to hear your thoughts!
