Welcome New Students

The Goucher library is here to help. We have a new building, but the most important part of the library is still its people. Here are a few of the things we can do for you:

Feel free to stop by the reference desk anytime you see a librarian there - no appointment necessary. We can help with research projects, or just answer basic questions about the library.

You may also make an appointment with a librarian for more in-depth one-on-one research help.

Want a basic tour, just to find out where the library's stuff (both real and virtual) is? We can do that.

Want a quiet place where you can study undisturbed? We have those.

Want a not quiet place, where you're free to work in a group and talk as much as you like? We have those too.

Want to just chill? That works too.
