Student Symposium 2012

The annual Goucher College Student Symposium will be held Friday, April 27 in the Athenaeum. It celebrates the multi-faceted talents of the Goucher student body by combining the Julia Rogers Research Prizes, the Digital Media Showcase and Contest, and Independent Study and Research Presentations on research-based and creative works that stem from student-faculty partnerships.

The Goucher College Library and Friends of the Library sponsor the annual Julia Rogers Research Prize competition for outstanding research by Goucher students using library resources. The $250 prizes were first offered in 2004, in honor of Julia Rogers' 150th birthday.

The Digital Media Showcase and Contest celebrate the use of technology in arts and education. Academic and non-academic works are displayed and prizes are awarded to the contest winners.

3:30 - 4:00 Digital Media Showcase
