Kathryn Allamong Jacob '72 : Two Special Lectures

Kathryn Allamong Jacob '72 presents a special Women's History Month talk:

 "The Challenges of Collecting Women's History," 

Tuesday, March 23, at 4 pm in the Batza Room in the Athenaeum.

Sponsored by the Brooke and Carol Peirce Center for Undergraduate Reearch in Special Collections.

   

On the following day,  Wednesday, March 24, at 7 pm in the Batza Room, she will present a lecture entitled, "King of the Lobby: The Life and Times of Sam Ward."

At a time when the influence of special interests in national politics has reached new heights, Jacob will examine the life of Sam Ward and his indelible influence on lobbying in America.

Kathryn Allamong Jacob is Curator of Manuscripts at the Schlesinger Library on the History of Women in America at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies, Harvard University.
