Epsom Farm Exhibit
Epsom Farm was an 18th-century farm that existed for 150 years on the land that is
now home to Goucher College. Learn how Assistant Professor Tina Sheller, with Bryce
Carson '13, Jackson Gilman-Forlini '12, and students from the Historical Archaeology
and Material Culture course, recovered the lost world of Epsom Farm using records,
artifacts, and archeological remains to document everyday life at this important estate.
The main exhibit will run through October 31, 2012, and includes records and artifacts from the collections of Cliveden, a National Trust Historic Site (Germantown, Pa), the Goucher College Library, the Hampton National Historic Site, the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, and the Library Company of Philadelphia.
