Book Drive Ends

Jaime book drive

The Baltimore Reads Inc. Book Bank has provided new and gently-used books to disadvantaged families in Baltimore since 1992. The goal is to spark family reading at home by making sure there are plenty of books available to take home.

A book drive targeted at the collection of children's books was sponsored by the Julia Rogers Library during April. The campaign was coordinated by Goucher sophomore Jaime Bogardy, in the photo at left. Boxes were placed around the campus for students, staff, and faculty to donate gently-used books.  The drive ended on May 3.
