Journalism in America: Just the Facts
From the first multi-page newspaper printed in America in 1690 to today's ubiquitous mass media (newspapers, magazines, photographs, cartoons, radio, television, internet), journalism has projected the identity of a cutting-edge, adventurous, and glamorous profession. Its complexities encompass politics, ethics, money, and fame, and much more. The library's collection includes many books about the history of American journalism and the people who made that history.
