Minor in Theatre

  1. Collaboration. Students demonstrate the ability to work together effectively, and to solve problems collaboratively by producing theatrical moments and events.

  2. Discipline. Students apply skills from multiple sub-fields within theatre studies, and from disciplines outside theatre studies, toward the creation of theatrical productions.

  3. Discernment. Students develop critical responses to theatrical phenomena.

  4. Exploration. Students evaluate different theatrical forms, aesthetic values, and cultural contexts as a way of deepening one’s technical skills, and expanding one’s understanding of what is theatrically possible and socially constructive.
