Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
By the end of this program students should be able to:
- understand and competently apply psychological research methods.
- communicate effectively as it pertains to the study and practice of psychology.
- apply one's understanding of psychology to experiences outside the traditional classroom.
- identify the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and historical trends in psychology.
- develop critical consciousness and an appreciation of a variety of ways of knowing.
- recognize, understand, and respect the complexity of sociocultural and international diversity in psychology and related fields.
- demonstrate comprehension of ethics in the field and build an ethical framework with regard to the study and practice of psychology.
