Danielle Egan '95, the Fuller-Maathai Professor of Gender, Sexuality and Intersectionality Studies at Connecticut College, has been named dean of the faculty, effective July 1, 2022.

In spring 2022, a group of advocates--including former GPEP students Ramieka Robinson-Peoples and Donte Small--called upon Maryland business leaders to fill the vacant positions caused by the pandemic's "Great Resignation" by hiring qualified returning citizens, thereby reducing recidivism and the too-common prejudice against the formerly incarcerated.
