Courtney White '00, a third-grade teacher at North Georgetown Elementary in Georgetown, Delaware, was named Indian River School District's 2018-19 Teacher of the Year.

Three students took their studies to the "Reading Frankenstein, Reading the 21st Century" conference at Morgan State University, commemorating the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein.

Seven undergraduate and graduate students were nominated to participate in the Teachers of Promise Institute, a one-day institute for educators who demonstrate high academic achievement and teaching skills.

Goucher College is proud to announce that Dr. La Jerne Terry Cornish '83, M.Ed. '94, P '18 will become the new provost and senior vice president of educational affairs at Ithaca College.
