Zahi Khamis

Associate Professor

Zahi Khamis is the director of the Arabic program as well as a teacher of Arabic at Goucher College. He joined Goucher faculty in 2008, after having taught Mathmatics public schools for 16 years. Zahi earned his first degree in Mathematics at SDSU and his M.A in Liberal Studies at Loyola University of Maryland. In addition to teaching, Zahi is an accomplished artist whose work has appeared in a number of solo and group exhibits, including shows at the United Nations, Maryland space for the arts, The Palestine Center (Washington D.C) and the Carnegie Institute for Peace (Washington D.C).
