Group Visit Policies and FAQs

Q: How do we schedule a group visit?

A: After reading our Group Visit FAQs, please complete our Group Visit Request Form. This form provides us with more information about your group and will show you what days and times we are able to accommodate a group visit. After you submit a group visit request, our Admissions Visit Coordinator will send you an email to either request more information or to confirm your request. You must request group visits at least 2 weeks in advanced. We can only accommodate groups with a confirmed reservation.

Q: What constitutes a group visit?

A: Groups consist of 10 to 40 prospective students who are high school aged or prospective transfer students and visiting through a secondary school group or community based organization. If your group is larger than 40 students, please consider splitting your group into two separate visits on different days. We ask that you have one adult chaperone for every 10 students.

Q: What will be included in our visit? How long does a typical visit take?

A: Your group visit will typically last 90 minutes and includes a 30 minute information session led by an admissions counselor and a 60 minute campus tour led by a student tour guide. Please arrive fifteen minutes early to allow time to check in, get seated, and fill out inquiry cards prior to the information session.

Q: What if I cannot request a group visit on a certain day or time?

A: The online scheduler is the most up to date calendar with the Admissions Office’s availability to accommodate a group visit. Please note that we can only accommodate group visits from mid-September to mid-November, mid-February to mid-March, and June through July. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate group visits outside of these dates, and we do not offer group visits on weekends.

Q: What do I do if our group is running late or we have to cancel?

A: If your group is running late please contact the Admissions Office immediately. Call 410-337-6100 to let us know you are running late. If your group is more than 15 minutes late, we will not be able to accommodate the full information session and campus tour schedule as planned. If your group has to cancel, please notify our Admissions Visit Coordinator at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled visit.
