A Glimpse of Goucher

Goucher invites you to attend A Glimpse of Goucher. This program is open to selected admitted students only. The goal of this event is for students to experience the outstanding opportunities and resources offered at Goucher while engaging with faculty, staff and current students. We want you to be able to envision yourselves as part of the Goucher community. An optional overnight stay is also available to you. Please join us for this unforgettable experience!

The program begins on Sunday, March 29 at 11 a.m. and concludes on Monday, March 30 with Gopher Day. (An optional tour will be available for families departing at 2:30 p.m.)

Limited programming is open to adults accompanying students on Sunday. Students registering for the overnight program must attend the full Gopher Day program on March 30.

Transportation Assistance & Travel Grant Information

Transportation Assistance: We will be happy to provide transportation to and from Baltimore Washington-Marshall International (BWI) Airport and Baltimore Penn Station for Sunday arrivals scheduled between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. and Monday departures scheduled between 4-6 p.m.

This will enable participation in the entirety of the program. To reserve transportation to campus from Baltimore Washington-Marshall International airport or Baltimore Penn Station, please contact Tiffanee Charles, Admissions Counselor by email (Tiffanee.Charles@goucher.edu) or phone (410-337-6233).

Travel Grants: In addition, Goucher is pleased to offer a limited number of travel grants for students wishing to participate in A Glimpse of Goucher. Travel grants are offered only for the attending student and not for family members who also wish to attend. Priority consideration will be given to students who will be visiting Goucher for the first time, live outside a 100-mile radius of campus, and have previously submitted their financial aid documents.

To be considered for a travel grant, please fill out the Travel Grant Form. This form must be submitted by Thursday, March 19 at 5 p.m. EST along with registration form for the program.

2:30 - 3:30 p.m.: Panel with Support Services

3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.: Resiliency Activity

4:30 p.m. - 5:45 p.m.: Break

6 p.m. - 7 p.m.: Dinner and Networking with Multicultural Organizations/Multicultural Performances

7:15 p.m. - 9 p.m.: Social Time
