Exhibit Dates
With Silence Comes Peace at the Silber Art Gallery inside the Athenaeum will be presented from Tuesday, October 27, to Sunday, December 6. This exhibit, which is free and open to the public, can be viewed Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Artist Reception
An artists’ reception will be held Friday, November 20, 6-9 p.m., with an artists’ talk at 7:30 p.m.
About the Exhibit
In this exhibit, six artists explore notions of mindfulness, meditation, and spirituality.
Featuring works by David Brown, Anna Fine Foer, Kim Manfredi, Jo Smail, Kurt Steger, and Stephen Watson.
Meditation Dates
To complement the art exhibition With Silence Comes Peace, Goucher invites community members and the public to learn about mindfulness, reduce stress, and find peace through Vipassana “insight” meditation.
Four free one-hour weekly meditation classes will be taught by expert teachers from

All classes will be held at 3 p.m. in the Silber Art Gallery of the Ungar Athenaeum and are open to everyone—novices, dabblers, and skilled practitioners.
