Class of 1956


The Class of 1956 is delighted to celebrate 70 years! 

We look forward to reconnecting in person and sharing memories as we celebrate at the Golden Alumnae Lunch on Saturday, April 25 at noon in The Rosenberg Gallery. We’ll be seated together for lunch and our class photo.

Our class is truly grateful to the Class of 1976 for welcoming us into their 50th Reunion celebration. After our own in-person reunion was postponed due to the pandemic, we’re especially excited for the chance to come together, reconnect, and share in this milestone moment.

Celebrate a remarkable milestone with the 50th Reunion of Goucher’s Class of 1976! This year, we are also honored to welcome the Class of 1971, whose reunion was postponed due to the pandemic. Cheers for two incredible classes and one unforgettable reunion. 

Special Updates from the Reunion Leaders: 

  • The Pinkard Room will be open throughout the weekend and will serve as the Class of 1976 Hospitality Suite.
  • Creative Showcase Hosted by the Class of 1976 

Throughout the 50th Reunion Weekend, a designated gallery space within the Hospitality Room will feature creative pieces, offering classmates a chance to share their creativity and celebrate the many artistic journeys that have blossomed over the years. Red Hot Blue 35th Anniversary Celebration


Goucher's Red Hot Blue ("RHB") contemporary a capella music ensemble is celebrating 35 years! 

Our Reunion Committee is excited to celebrate 35 years of Red Hot Blue! We’ve been hard at work planning events and programs to make this year extra special. Highlights and ways to participate are listed below—we can’t wait to see you back on campus soon!  

RHB Reunion Highlights   

Friday, April 24   
2:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. | Red Hot Blue Alumni Rehearsal 
A dedicated rehearsal session for RHB alumni singers to reconnect, warm up their voices, and practice together before taking the stage on Saturday. This is a chance to fine-tune harmonies, get comfortable with the set list, and share the excitement of performing as a group once again.  

3:00-4:30 p.m. | A Cappella Master’s Class with Red Hot Blue  
An open masterclass welcomes all—alums, students, and guests, no experience required! Explore vocal techniques, harmony, and collaborative performance while connecting with Goucher’s music tradition.   

Saturday, April 25th 
10:30 a.m. | State of the College: Presidential Address   

Hear updates from the College, highlights of the past year, and a vision for the future. President Kent Devereaux will share information about the current academic year and what life is like for students in 2026. Red Hot Blue Alumni will perform to kick off the program.    

2:00-3:30 p.m.  |  Goucher Pep Rally + AAGC Annual Meeting  
Red Hot Blue will perform, alongside the a cappella student group, Gopher tones, to kick off the AAGC Annual Meeting with a burst of school spirit at the Pep Rally!
