Goucher’s Psi Chi Chapter Inducts 11 New Members

On April 10, 2026, Goucher’s chapter of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, inducted 11 new members: Azeezah Azeez ’28, Trevor Bao ’26, Charlotte Bloom ’27, Katie Bloom ’27, Samuel Dylan ’27, Alexandra Dzhygit ’28, Alyssa King ’26, George King ’27, Lily Perron ’28, Natasha Ramsland ’27, and Hope Verschleiser ’28. Psi Chi seniors also received their honor cords during the ceremony, to be worn at Commencement.

To be eligible for membership, members must be psychology majors or minors, have completed at least three semesters of college and at least 9 credit hours of psychology courses, have earned a cumulative GPA that is in the top 35% of their class (sophomore, junior, or senior) compared to their classmates across the entire college, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA average for psychology courses.

The officers presiding over the ceremony were Co-Presidents Katelyn Conrad ’26 and Trichelle White ’26 and President-Elect Angelina Acosta ’27. The faculty advisors for Psi Chi are Dr. Thomas Ghirardelli and Dr. Jennifer McCabe.
