Goucher College named one of the best colleges by The Princeton Review

Goucher College has once again been recognized as one of the best colleges in the nation and ranked number one for its highly-regarded study abroad program in The Princeton Review's annual college rankings.

The Princeton Review survey asked 140,000 students at the nation's top colleges to rate their schools and included the rankings in The Best 385 Colleges: 2020 Edition.

"We chose the 385 colleges for this edition as our 'best' overall, academically, based on data we gathered in 2018–19 from more than a thousand school administrators about their schools' academic programs and offerings," said Robert Franek, The Princeton Review's Editor-in-Chief and lead author of the book.

Franek continued, "We are well aware, however, that applicants need more than an academic assessment to choose the colleges best for them. We created our dozens of ranking lists specifically to facilitate that search. We tally our lists using data we gather directly from our surveys students of attending these colleges. Our survey asks the students about their professors, administrators, school services, campus culture, and other facets of life at their schools."

Goucher has regularly been included in the list, as well as recognized as one of the first colleges in the nation to require all of its undergraduates study abroad.
