Jean Guerrero, M.F.A. ’15, featured in The New York Times
Jean Guerrero, M.F.A. ’15, recently wrote an opinion piece, “The Border Realities Beneath the Fury,” for The New York Times. Guerrero, who serves as an investigative reporter for KPBS and NPR News, has reported extensively on border migration and immigration issues.
In addition to her reporting, Guerrero is also the award-wining author of Crux: A Cross-Border Memoir, which is based on her journey exploring her father’s mental illness. Her essay about her father and mental illness was just selected to appear in The Best American Essays 2019. The highly regarded volume of work will debut in October 2019.
