Three of Goucher’s Africana Studies Students traveled with Dr. Kami Fletcher to Atlanta, GA to attend the 110th Annual Conference of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History. Samaya Cullum and Tiernan Terhorst, seniors, and Grace Moffitt-Dietrich, a junior, all History majors and Africana Studies minors, traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to attend the Association for the Student of African American Life and History's 110th annual conference. The theme “African Americans and Labor” allowed students the opportunity to gain fresh new perspectives on the legacy, impact, and power of Black labor across history.
