The 2023 Virginia General Assembly passed a resolution commending Dorothy Lipsitz Robinson, ’42 for her selection as the winner of the 2022 Elizabeth Statuta Baker '70 Public Service Award from Goucher College. The resolution was presented to her by Delegate Thomas J. Wright, Jr., R, District 61, at her home in Chase City, VA, for the Goucher honor and as an expression of the General Assembly’s admiration for her achievements and service to the Chase City community.
Dorothy, who is one month away from her 101st birthday, expressed her gratitude for the recognition and her “hope that all this doesn’t go to my head.”
