Goucher athletes secure national championship and Landmark conference titles
Members of the equestrian, tennis, golf, and track and field teams earned honors this week.
Cherise Madrid ’20 became the fourth National Champion for the Goucher College equestrian program at the IHSA National Championships. She earned the title in the individual Walk Trot category.
The Goucher men's tennis team earned their fourth Landmark conference tournament title and will advance to the NCAA DIII championships.
Led by Julian Gonzalez ’22, the Goucher men's golf team earned its second-straight Landmark conference championship and will move on to the NCAA DIII championships.
Taylor Gunter ’20 won the gold medal in the discus at the 2019 Landmark conference outdoor track and field championship.
