Milton Myers, Guest Artist in Residence

Recognized worldwide as a master teacher, Milton Myers is resident choreographer and instructor for Philadanco and on the faculties of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, the Ailey/Fordham B.F.A. Program, Peridance, STEPS on Broadway, and The Juilliard School, where he is the first Horton instructor. He has performed with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, driected the Joyce Trisler Danscompany, and was honored by the International Association of Blacks in Dance for his extraordinary teaching and mentorship to dancers. He teaches and choreographs for prominent comapnies and dance centers world-wide. In 2016 he celebrated his 30th year coaching and mentoring students at The School at Jacob's Pillow. Myers will teach modern classes and set a work on Goucher dancers to be performed in the Goucher Repertory Dance Ensemble Concert on April 21 and 22. Master classes are open to high-intermediate and advanced modern dancers. Class fee: $20
