Jennifer Tscheulin

Jennifer Tscheulin is a vibrant clarinetist and bass clarinetist who regularly performs throughout the Eastern seaboard. Ms. Hughson joined the Morgan State faculty in 2019 teaching applied clarinet lessons and World of Music. She also teaches clarinet at Goucher College.

Mrs. Tscheulin currently holds positions in the Washington Chamber Orchestra, the Mind on Fire New Music Ensemble, and Balance Campaign New Music Ensemble. She has played with the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, the Richmond Symphony, the Mid-Atlantic Symphony, and the NakedEye New Music Ensemble, among others. While playing various genres of music, Ms. Hughson has premiered and recorded numerous new commissions from living composers throughout the United States and abroad.

Mrs. Tscheulin received her Bachelor of Music degree in Clarinet Performance from Indiana University and her Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance from the Peabody Conservatory, studying with Howard Klug and Steven Barta, respectively.
