How to Apply
The selection process at Goucher is highly individualized, and members of the admissions committee pay particularly close attention not only to students' academic development, but also to their personal qualities, talents, interests, and extracurricular involvement — qualifications that may not be reflected in standardized test scores, which are optional in Goucher's admissions process. SAT and/or ACT scores still are required for consideration for merit funding, however.
All students apply to Goucher using the Common Application. You'll also need to submit the Goucher Supplement—just a few basic details about you that the Common App doesn't cover.
If you're a visiting student or are not seeking a degree from Goucher, you should use the form for non-degree candidates (PDF), not the Common App. If you'll be seeking to earn a second bachelor's degree, complete this form (PDF).
