    The Library celebrates 50 years of The Snowy Day, a Caldecott Award-winning children's book by Ezra Jack Keats, with a vibrant exhibit.  The exhibit features Keats' book along with information about his personal and creative life and the reception of The Snowy Day within the literary community.

    Beginning Thursday December 15, the Library hours will change to accomodate the Winter Break.  The Library will no longer be operating on a 24/7 schedule until January.  Please view the Library Hours for a complete listing of closings.

    The Library will be closed from noon on Wednesday, November 23 until 6pm on Sunday, November 27, at which time 24/7 resumes.

    Come by and get your hands on the latest eReaders and Tablets on Wednesday, November 16 from 10am - 4pm in the Athenaeum's Batza Room.  There will be Kindles, Nooks, iPads, and more.  Visitors will have a chance to win one of the devices after completing a short survey.

    The Goucher College Library presents a Native American Literature exhibit, located on the 3rd floor entry-level of the library. The exhibit features an assortment of Native American authors and poets, including several collections of traditional Native American tales and folklore from a variety of different tribes.
