    If you are looking for a good book to read, the Library has some new tools to help you decide. Check Me Out is a display of books recommended by the Goucher College Library staff available by the main floor entrance.     The Library has four kindles pre-loaded with selected popular titles that are available to Goucher students, faculty, and staff.  Kindles are available for a 14-day loan period and may be checked out at the Research Services Desk in the Athenaeum.  For more information see the e-reader research guide.

    From February 27-March 2, 2012, the Peace Studies department and Goucher College's STAND chapter will be hosting "Congo Week", a week-long series of events about the ongoing conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  In support of the week, the Library has a display of Congo-related books on the 3rd level and a research guide for other Congo-related resources.
