    As part of the Athenaeum Library Series, the Maryland Black-Eyed Susan Awards Ceremony will feature author Hannah Moskowitz author of Break, Zombie Tag, Invincible Summer, and Gone, Gone, Gone.  The Ceremony will be held in the Batza Room of the Athenaeum on Wednesday, May 2 at 6:30pm.

    National Library Week Celebrations April 9-13! To celebrate National Library Week, the Goucher College Library will be hosting a weeks' worth of special events. Come to the Information Commons and join the fun!

    The Friends of the Goucher Library present Sharon Beischer Harwood '65 speaking about the work of Olive Wetzel Dennis, Goucher class of 1908, the first woman civil engineer on the B&O Railroad, whose contributions earned her the title "the woman who took the pain out of the train."  This free event will take place in the Athenaeum's Batza Room on Tuesday, April 17 at 7:00 pm.

    The annual Goucher College Student Symposium will be held Friday, April 27in the Athenaeum. It celebrates the multi-faceted talents of the Goucher student body by combining the Julia Rogers Research Prizes, the Digital Media Showcase and Contest, and Independent Study and Research Presentations on research-based and creative works that stem from student-faculty partnerships.
