Welcome to the Goucher Gopher Family!
Similar to the summer sessions offered to incoming student, these programs offer parents
and families an opportunity to learn more about Goucher and all it has to offer. Join
us for our 2024 Family Summer Series hosted by Michele Hosey, Director of New Student
Programs, with the assistance of Kelly Applefeld, Coordinator for Student Affairs
and Parent/Family Engagement. The preliminary schedule is listed below. If you would

Join members of the Goucher Community as we explain the New Student Roadmap, the Family Orientation series, and more.
6/17 – Student Health Center

This session will provide families with an opportunity to learn about Goucher's Student Health Center and its services.
6/26 – Residential Life, Commuting & Dining Services
Wednesday, June 26
Join us as we host representatives from Residential Life, Dining Services, and the Office of Student Engagement.
7/9 – Office of Accessibility Services
Tuesday, July 9
Nancy Williams-Nettles, Director of Accessibility, will share an overview of the Office of Accessibility, accommodations and services offered.
7/9 – Supporting Your Student

Our guests, Dr. Justin Smith, Associate Vice President of Student Well-Being and Dean of Students, Alex Perry, Director of Student Support & Accountability, and Lauren Greenberg, LCPC, the Director of the Student Counseling Center will discuss the services offered and how students can be their own best advocate.
7/16 – Student Employment
Tuesday, July 16
Matt van Hoose, Associate Vice President for Global, Career, and Community-Based Learning, and Traci Martin, Executive Director of Career and Experiential Learning, will join us to answer questions about student employment on and off campus.
7/27 – Academics
Wednesday, July 24
Join Kimberly Meisel, Director of Academic Advising and Support, for a presentation on Academic Support and Resources for Goucher students followed by a Q&A.
