PBPM Alumni Profile:

Scott Goldberg

"I was surprised by how prepared I felt when I started medical school, even after taking two glide years. It’s a testament to how well we were taught and how comprehensive the classes were."

After graduating from Brown, Scott became a producer for The Leonard Lopate Show, a public radio program in New York City.  He focused on health topics for the show, and then decided to pursue a career in medicine. Following his post-bac year, he worked for the SHIELD study, a Johns Hopkins research project that looks at HIV and lung disease in underserved urban populations. He now studies at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and continues to produce radio stories.
