Graduate Student Tutors
Elyse Mark, Assessment Coordinator, is a post-baccalaureate premed student at Goucher with a background in English literature and international relations. She has tutored students of all ages in spoken and written English, from elementary school up to the graduate level, with a special focus on academic writing and English as a second language.
Dana Michlin is a post-baccalaureate premed student at Goucher who has previously served as a tutor for math and English classes. She loves the revision process, finding it to be a very creative endeavor, and is excited to work with other students in writing classes.
Cindy Sadler is a longtime contributor to Classical Singer Magazine, blogger, and author of The Student Singer's Starter Kit. Formerly, she served as artist-in-residence at Centenary College of Louisiana, and is currently Executive Director of Spotlight on Opera and a first-year Master's student in Arts Administration at Goucher College.
Drop In Tutor
Amanda Brandt is a student in Goucher’s Nonfiction Writing MFA program. She worked as a college writing center tutor while an undergraduate student majoring in English (nonfiction writing concentration) and French, then taught middle school and high school French for a few years before switching to editorial work at an educational publisher. She is an experienced developmental editor, copyeditor, and proofreader.
